Your Honeymoon Lodgings ~ At the end of the road, in one of the last pristine valleys in the Colorado Rockies there is a secret island. Surrounded by a rushing mountain river and two trout streams, Wise Acre, our cabin compound, is wild, rustic and Magical. This intimate Retreat we have created for you is 7 miles from Crested Butte, the Wildflower Capital of Colorado and home of the International Mountain Bike Hall of fame. At our combination of MoBoho (Mountain Bohemian) and all-American grown-up Sleep-Away Camp you will snuggle in with vintage tartan blankets, Nat Geo magazines, old-fashioned board games, Cowboy and equestrian memorabilia, generations of fairy-tale books. Enjoy provided breakfasts, your own private picnic by the river, share a campfire under the splendid, starry sky, fish in the back yard, hike and mountain bike right out the door. We offer you two cozy, whimsical Mountain HoneyMoon cabins, assist you in planning the wedding, the ritual, scout the location, with celebration artists, Earth Wisdom Minister, photographers, video, Wedding Crown Creations, Floral and Arch designs, make-up and more. |
